王端廷

王端廷，1961年生，湖北蕲春人，当代中国艺术评论家，西方美术史研究学者。1983年毕业于武汉大学。作为国家公派访问学者先后留学于法国巴黎第一大学艺术史与考古学研究院(1997—1998年)、意大利罗马第一大学文学与哲学学院艺术史系(2002—2003年)。掌握英语、法语和意大利语。现为中国艺术研究院美术研究所外国美术研究室主任，研究员。中国艺术研究院研究生院美术系教授，研究生导师。《美术观察》杂志编委。欧美同学会会员。中国美术家协会会员。
长期从事西方美术史研究，已出版译著《抽象绘画》，专著《心灵万象·绘画》（与李黎阳合著）、《迷狂的独行者——雷蒙·饶可让的绘画艺术》、《人体艺术欣赏》、《百年困惑——现代美术》、《写给大家的西方美术史》（与李黎阳合著）、《外国绘画经典》（下，与翟墨合著）、《后印象派》、《立体派》、《巴黎画派》、《静沐西风——西方艺术论说》《西方美术史》、《从现代到后现代》、《桑德罗·特劳蒂》等。
发表论文一百三十余篇。与翟墨共同主编有《西方现代艺术流派书系》（12册）、《20世纪外国大师论艺书系》（12册）、《西方后现代艺术流派书系》（12册）、《艺术东西书丛》（4册）、《艺术东西丛书》（12册）。
